Financial Independence Support
Livelihood setup, financial literacy workshops, and money-management mentoring
Support is based on each survivor’s health, experience, family situation, and realistic earning opportunity. This is not a vocational training programme.
- Case-by-case livelihood assessment and a simple action plan
- Business inputs, startup logistics, equipment, or other appropriate seed support, building on the 19 businesses already started
- New addition: financial literacy workshops for up to 100 survivors, in small batches led by a qualified facilitator — budgeting, safe banking and mobile finance, saving, debt/fraud awareness, and simple recordkeeping
- Individual mentoring and money-management guidance linked directly to supported livelihoods, addressing a real gap we’ve observed
